01 · Before use
Inspect the device and read the full safety information
Pulsetto’s current newcomer materials list the device, a 60 g conductive-gel tube, USB-C charging cable, and user manual. FIT materials also list magnetic padding in different sizes. Check the actual package against the current manual and order confirmation.
Pulsetto lists cracks, battery swelling, unusual heat, and a damaged charging port as unsafe signs. The manufacturer says to stop using the device and contact support if any appear. Avoid dropping, crushing, bending, or twisting the neckband.
Pulsetto’s published list includes, but is not limited to, active implanted electronic devices, metal devices at or near the neck, nickel allergy or sensitivity, pregnancy, pediatric use, and several cardiovascular, neurological, and anatomical circumstances.
The manufacturer also says not to use the device over wet, irritated, infected, injured, swollen, or scarred skin at the application site. This summary is not the complete list.
Anyone uncertain whether a warning applies should ask a qualified healthcare professional before use.
02 · App
Download, sign in, and connect the powered-on device
Pulsetto describes its app as an essential part of the workflow. It says the login method may depend on how the product was ordered.
- Download the Pulsetto app from the appropriate official app store.
- Create or access the account by following the app’s instructions.
- Turn on the Pulsetto device.
- Select Connect Device in the app.
- Wait for connection before choosing a program.
Pulsetto currently lists five programs in the free plan and markets premium features separately. Confirm the current tier rather than assuming every advertised feature is included indefinitely.
If pairing fails, use Pulsetto’s current connection video or contact its support. Do not improvise account, firmware, or hardware resets not described by the manufacturer.
03 · Conductive gel
Use the documented gel and keep it away from the charging port
Conductive gel is part of Pulsetto’s documented setup. Pulsetto says it supports contact and conductivity and warns that using the device without gel or with substitute gel may cause skin irritation.
How much gel?
Pulsetto’s current conductive-gel FAQ recommends a pea-sized amount per session and notes that quantity may vary with neck size. Other setup pages use broader wording such as a “small amount.” Treat the current manual and gel instructions supplied with the product as authoritative if wording changes.
Do not assume that more gel produces a better result. The manufacturer describes the goal as adequate contact, not a larger dose.
Where does it go?
Pulsetto says gel may be applied to the documented neck contact area or spread directly onto the device electrodes. Use the current placement diagram or in-app guide for the specific model; this article cannot verify position on an individual neck.
Can another gel be used?
Pulsetto’s current gel FAQ says to use Pulsetto gel and warns that no gel or substitute gel may cause irritation. Follow that instruction unless Pulsetto publishes a compatible alternative for the specific device.
Keep gel away from the USB-C charging port. Pulsetto warns that residue inside the port can cause overheating or permanent damage.
04 · Position
Place it comfortably without forcing the neckband
Pulsetto instructs users to place the device comfortably and securely around the neck. FIT includes manufacturer-listed padding intended to adjust fit.
- Confirm the electrodes contact the gelled area as shown in the current guide.
- Make sure the device sits securely without forcing or twisting it.
- Do not place it over irritated, damaged, or wet skin.
- Remove it before sleeping, exercising, or driving, as stated in Pulsetto’s care guidance.
If it cannot be positioned as shown without discomfort, stop and consult Pulsetto support instead of forcing the fit.
05 · Intensity
Follow the manufacturer’s lowest-intensity starting instruction
Pulsetto’s newcomer instructions say to select a program and begin at the lowest intensity, increasing gradually until a light tingling sensation is felt in the neck area.
Pulsetto says muscle contractions may occur at the application site and should stop after pulsation ends. Its published side-effect list includes application-site discomfort, irritation or redness, local pain, muscle twitching or contractions, headache, dizziness, and tingling sensations.
Manufacturer language about an expected sensation does not mean every sensation should be ignored. Stop and consult the manual or Pulsetto support if discomfort is painful, persistent, unusual, or concerning. Seek qualified medical help when symptoms warrant it.
Do not copy another person’s intensity or routine. Pulsetto says programs, intensity, and duration can vary and describes the product as a general wellness product, not a personalized medical plan.
06 · Cleaning
Remove gel after every session and let the device dry
Pulsetto’s quick-start instructions say to clean gel from both skin and device after the session.
Do
- Gently wipe after every use with Pulsetto cleaning wipes or a soft, dry cloth.
- If needed, put micellar water on a cloth—never directly on the device.
- Let the device dry fully before charging or storing.
Do not
- Wash it under running water.
- Submerge it or place it under a tap.
- Use alcohol-based, chemical, or abrasive cleaners.
Check that no gel remains near or inside the charging port before connecting a cable.
07 · Charging and storage
Charge only when clean and dry
Pulsetto’s current guidance says to use the included USB-C-to-USB-C cable and a laptop, computer, or 5V phone adapter. It describes a blinking light during charging and a solid light when fully charged.
The manufacturer warns against leaving the device charging for days and says to unplug it once fully charged. Gel inside the charging port can cause overheating or permanent damage.
Store the device in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat, out of reach of children and pets, preferably in its case or box. Pulsetto says to avoid cars, saunas, radiators, humid areas, pools, and bathrooms.
08 · Avoid
Common setup mistakes
- 01Using no gel or substitute gel
Pulsetto says its conductive gel is required and warns about irritation.
- 02Starting high
The manufacturer instructs new users to begin at the lowest intensity.
- 03Gel near the charging port
Gel belongs on the documented contact area or electrodes, not in or near USB-C.
- 04Charging before cleaning and drying
Remove residue and let the device dry fully first.
- 05Using it on wet or damaged skin
Pulsetto says not to use it on wet skin or over specified skin problems.
- 06Treating programs as a medical plan
App labels and marketing do not create a diagnosis or personalized treatment.
09 · Stop and check
When to stop and get help
Stop using the device and check the current manual or contact Pulsetto support when:
- The device is cracked, swollen, unusually hot, or has a damaged charging port.
- It cannot be positioned comfortably as instructed.
- Skin irritation, pain, or another reaction is persistent or concerning.
- It behaves unexpectedly or will not connect, charge, or run normally.
- You are unsure whether a contraindication or warning applies.
Contact a qualified healthcare professional for personal medical questions or concerning symptoms. This website cannot determine whether electrical stimulation is suitable for an individual.
10 · Checklist
Before, during, and after
- Read the manual and complete contraindications.
- Inspect the device, electrodes, cable, and charging port.
- Confirm the neck application area is clean, dry, and intact.
- Connect through the official Pulsetto app.
- Apply manufacturer-recommended gel to the documented area or electrodes.
- Position comfortably without forcing the neckband.
- Start at the lowest intensity and follow current program instructions.
- Stop if pain, persistent irritation, or an unexpected reaction occurs.
- Clean gel from skin and device after the session.
- Let the device dry and inspect the port before charging or storage.
11 · Conclusion
Prefer the current manual over any third-party summary
Pulsetto’s setup depends on the complete routine: safety review, app connection, conductive gel, correct placement, low starting intensity, post-session cleaning, and careful charging.
The most avoidable problems are skipping gel, substituting unapproved gel, starting too high, using the device on wet or damaged skin, leaving residue near the port, and continuing to use damaged hardware.
